Seven No-Cost Ways to Benefit Lutheran High

1)   Become a Thrivent Member

Fill out the Thrivent membership application at registration.  Your membership allows the school to apply for matching funds when you volunteer service hours for fund raisers. Membership also makes you eligible for the “Giving Plus” program, which provides matching dollars for any donations you make to the school. This program ends Dec. 30, 2006.

2)     Purchase a Lutheran High Kroger Gift Card
For $5, get a Kroger Gift Card from the school office, already loaded with $5.  When at Kroger, go to the customer service desk or any checker and load the card with the amount desired. Then use the gift card to pay for your purchases. When the card is empty, reload it again, and again. Five percent of your purchase amount is rebated to Lutheran High!

3) Volunteer
The school depends on fundraisers to augment your tuition payments. These events bring outside dollars into the school. When you give of your time and talents to make these events go well,   you also model a positive message about the value of service to our young people.

4) Schoolpop Program
Check out www.schoolpop.com.  This is a multifaceted program which rebates percentages of purchases back to Lutheran High.  Online purchases from familiar merchants can rebate anywhere from 1% to 11% or more.  You can also apply for a Schoolpop visa card which rebates 1% of all your purchases back to the school.

5) Encourage friends to attend and support our fundraisers and  activities
The Silent Auction and Golf Tournament are in the spring. All these are fun events which contribute dollars to the school. Watch for information about our spring musical the first weekend in March,  choir and band performances.

6) Ink cartridges
Bring used computer ink cartridges to the school office- we recycle them for office supply credit. For more information go to the following website www.greenschoolproject.com

7) Office Depot Rebate
Keep the attached card in your wallet. When checking out at Office Depot, give them your Lutheran High ID # 70205297 earning 5% back for the school.  For a limited time, the school is also entered into a drawing for prizes.
