Wiener Dog Races (and other small dogs)

The races are sponsored by the Senior Class with proceeds going to the Senior Class gift. The races will be held at Oktoberfest beginning at 4 P.M. The races will include three categories:

Wiener Dogs 15 lbs. and under                     

Wiener dogs 25 lbs. and under

Small dogs of other types under 25 lbs.

Owners will need to register all dogs at the race site and show proof of vaccination with tags. The racing fee for each dog is $10.00. No betting is permitted. Dogs are the responsibility of their owners at all times and should be in their care. (We suggest using a kennel.) Neither Lutheran High School nor Oktoberfest will be held liable should any dog bite or bother anyone or any other dog at the event. Owners are also responsible for any doggie "accidents" that might occur and should bring plastic bags with them. The winner in each category will receive a prize.
