Lutheran High School Annual Christmas Appeal

Merry Christmas! Yes, it’s that time of year when we have our annual Christmas appeal.  We need you!  Our school has no general endowment to support its mission and ministry and we have a $30,000 monthly mortgage that must be met. 
We are very aware of the generosity many of you have shown Lutheran High through the years, even to the extent of supporting the school with monthly giving.  However, God has a way of showering us with blessings and we are prayerful that God’s gifts have been such in your life that you would consider a special year end gift.
Many of you grew up in a time when you were supported and encouraged in your faith, a time when shopkeepers wished you Merry Christmas and schools had Christmas programs, Christmas parties and Christmas holidays. You also grew up when school was a safe place where you could focus on academics and extra curricular activities and just have fun being a teenager. At Lutheran High we try to be this kind of school.  We want you to know that while we nurture students placed in our care at Lutheran High we also prepare them to make a difference in the world, a world sorely in need of hearing the Good News, a world sorely in need of the truth.  
This Christmas season as you prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior with your families we ask that each of you consider a gift to Lutheran High School.  Being a small school means that every gift is precious to us.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pass on to the next generation the real reason for December 25th.  Merry Christmas to one and all from your family at Lutheran High School!
