Lutheran High School Endowment

Lutheran High School has no general endowment to support the ongoing mission of our school. If you would be interested in leaving a lasting gift which could touch the lives of students for generations to come we would love to speak to you.  It is possible to create a sub-endowment to support a specific interest.  An example of this is the Kathryn Elise Henson Memorial Endowment fund as outlined below.  Please contact our endowment committee through the school office.  To assist in estate planning and charitable gifting we have created a separate web page with important information. (See Estate Planning/Charitable Gifting.)

Kathryn Elise Henson Memorial Endowment

This Endowment was established to honor the memory of Kathryn Elise Henson, a 9th grade student who died suddenly on September 1st 2003.  The purpose of this endowment is to provide for the Kathryn Elise Henson Christian Scholar Award and to assist the school in purchasing permanent tangible items that would assist the school in its mission.  The Kathryn Elise Henson Christian Scholar Award has a $3000 maximum value.  It is awarded to a college bound senior as selected by the faculty and staff according to specific selection criteria.  If you would like to contribute to this endowment please contact the school office.
