Scholarships Awards to 2009 Seniors

Connor Barnes, Marc Andre LeBlanc, Kim Lane and Lee Pelton were all honored by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as scholar athletes.

Numerous Lutheran High 2009 seniors successfully obtained college scholarships. Some of the most notable include:

Stephen Burns, LHS Valedictorian for 2009, received the Donaghey Scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The Donaghey Scholars program is UALR's most gereous academic scholarship. Donaghey Scholars average and ACT score of 27 and a GPA of 3.7. The scholarship is for full tuition and fees, a generous stipend, and a foreign study experience that is valued at over $40,000.

Lauren Dudderar received the Texas Christian University Scholars Award.

Ta'Lun Campbell received the Counselor's Scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Connor Barnes received the Presidential Scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas.

Shelby Twedt received the Governor's Distinguished Scholarship and Trustee Scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas.

Marc-Andre LeBlanc received the Governor's Distinguished Scholarship.

Brandon Mellenthin is going to the US Military Academy at West Point.
